Bought Hid replacement bulb and not working.

I bought a replacement bulb for my o4 coupe with HID and it doesn't work. The box says PHILIPS XENON LIGHT. Its a D2R bulb. Is it because its a Xenon bulb?

Lets see here.

A D2R is the correct bulb for a 2004 coupe headlight assembly. I am 99% sure all coupes came with HID. You can always check the outer lens of the headlight to confirm it is a D2R application.

Are you just replacing one side? Try this.

-Try to install the new bulb on the other side and see if it works. If it does, there is something wrong with one side, possibly the ballast.

I just did that and its not the bulb. The bulbs are fine. I think its the ballast. Im going to have to buy new headlights because that one was leaking, and I just found a hole on the fog light cover. So that must be where the water came in from. I fix one thing something else happens. it never ends with, this car. Unfortunately I love driving it too much to part ways with it.
