Question Flexible LED Strip Help

I know many of you have used flexible strips for projectors. I have some 8mm wide ones but it appears that some have some strips that are less than that. Please let me know where I can find these thinner ones. It appears that clearcorners.com uses thinner strips. It could also be that the strips were just mounted farther back toward the lens with only part of it mounted to the shroud. Please see pic for what im talking about.

In my opinion placing led strips over the headlight looks cheesy. I have dremeled small holes and placed small leds inside headlights to obtain a cleaner look.

Lets see a pic of your headlights. The shroud is not very large to work with so placing individual LEDS is not the easiest, unless you have tiny hands...

Yes, you are right. I thought you were referring to the strip side.

The shroud is difficult to drill into but can be done, hardest part is wiring all the leds inside that small area.
I tried and it took me a long time to complete, therefore it was not worth it for me to start the other headlight.

Other companies and members have use strips. The shroud is not a straight circle though and some strips may have small gaps around the projector shroud.

I dont have any pictures of the shrouds with leds as I never complete those headlights but these are some others I have completed.

leds on the side and inside the turn signal. The amber is the small stock fog bulb.

Your sides look like how mine will look. Im getting 20 5mm LEDs drilled into the clearance strip where the middle peak is raised. The LED shroud is pretty bright from the test fit. Cant wait to get it completed and installed. Image shows alot of light cuz my my camera phone is not the best.
