are they hard to install?
ive seen the h.i.d.s conversion kits with the g35 harness, i think it was a 50 dollar difference between this and the one above.

your coupe does have HID headlights...but not projectors. If you want nice lights, get the 06+ projector headlights first, then think about doing the halos

From what I read they aren't 10000K lights, just the cold cathode tubes are.

i was told from my car audio guy my harness was cut, my friends 05 coupe looks like h.i.d.s mines look like some regular damn headlights.
The 06 headlights are ok but i have no experience with taking off the bumper to get to them.
How about these

^^ Some may say, it's bad and illegal and such in negative. But what I know is that the recalls are for the aiming of the projector on the driver side is a little high and may blind for the on coming traffic. Because it's the safety issue, the government have to make/sound it very serious and the manufacture have to replace them. All you have to do is re-aim it. I did have one as well as many others and the light out put came out nice and better than the reflectors. There is also another case (just one) that this member got her car on flame and the insurance blamed it on the headlight she got, but also her car was heavily modded so who knew what else when wrong (maybe fuel leaked). That's the only 1 case I heard, my set I run them almost every time I drive my G.

^ For straight up swap, you don't need to cut out any harness when you get the kit. For the reflectors, it use D2R and for projectors it use D2S bulb types. With my experienced, for non H.I.D units; you only need to drill the holes on the cap that cover the housing because you will not able to fit the H.I.D ballast inside the housing. After that just seal the holes with silicon. For bumper, it's not that hard. Do some research on the forum and I'm 100% sure that there is an instruction with pictures how to take the bumper off.

^ For H.I.D kit, it's only cost $70 shipped with the bulbs of your choice. Don't go 8000k, they look ok but won't see shiet on rainy day. 4300K is best but for both worlds 5000k-6000k.

This is false. Headlights were recalled because of a rotational issue with the cutoff, that CANNOT be fixed by reaiming. I have seen enough headlights with this issue to know its not just a problem with headlights being aimed too high. You have to physically take apart the headlight and adjust the cutoff shield inside of the headlight, and then put it back together and then re aim. You do not know what you are going to get from ebay, so it is a wise choice to buy them from a reputable dealership that sells nonrecalled headlights. I have yet to see anyone have a problem with those, while I can't even count how many issues people have had with the recalled projectors that they are purchasing on ebay and what not.

Ok, maybe I was the lucky one with just re-aim and passed the inspection (2 years in a row). Other than that, I guess Redlude knows more info than I am. Good luck on the find though, and to the one above. Yes, you can use the ballasts from the 03 onto the 06 except the bulbs (have to use D2S on 06).

no
03-05 should have halogen headlights which uses d2r bulbs
05-07 have projectors which uses d2s bulbs

d2r bulbs have a reflector shield which makes the cut off line
example: IS300, older ACURA TL CL

d2s bulbs don't have a reflector..cutoff line is made from the projector

I know because I have a HID business dealing with these stuff all the time

and 4300k is the best but I am using 6k. There is no such thing as 5k from what I know. Its just a 6k bulb in a 5k packaging
