making some headlights

so i jsut bought some 06-07 style headlights to swap into my 03 but before i put them in they are getting an overhaul.
i baked them and pulled them apart.
i plan on doing some fancy fiddling with the projectors to help make a sharper cleaner cutoff line, i have chrome plated bulbs for the turn signal so it looks clean when they r off, im also going to add a LED strip up the side of the headlight light the oem light on my 03's i havent gotten the strip in yet but ill take pix when i do.

also for the actual headlight im planning on remolding so that is sleeker looking. because i plan on painting it anyway. here are some pix of the work in progress.

basically i'm eliminating the bezel around the projector they have alot more work needed and lots of bondo added to create the curvs that im lookign for but keep post dill be updating this.

If you are eliminating the grooves from the top tunnel are you going to eliminate them from the bottom tunnel for balance?

oK, keep the thread updated. I'm curious to see where your imagination goes on this. Take your time, too, I'm sure you will come up with something clean.

Personally, I like the grooves, but again I am curious to see if you can do better

you need to work on those more. Too much color at that distance, which will lead to a blurred cutoff at farther distances. There is too much flare also, try to get the color more even across the beam pattern. Something more like this

Search IvoryGT's colormod thread, read the whole thing. Then read through the whole thing again. Then search some people's quad projector mod threads, and finally, go back to the colormod thread and read it all ONE MORE TIME.

^I'm not being sarcastic either, I really recommend this. It's what it takes to fully grasp it all if you are walking in blind to all this
