Amber vs Clear Corners...Preference?

why get amber leds? why not just use the amber bulbs that came with the clear corners?

tried few leds but settled with clear corner w/oem amber bulb

I thought the LEDs would be brighter and fill up the entire lens, but it's spotty at best. Live and learn, probably going with the chrome ambers. Thanks for the link, I haven't been to that site in a while (not since I was looking for a yellow fog light).
