Lol not a hard concept to grab here.


Dual filament bulbs can have 1 filament burn out and the other still work.

About 10-20 years ago, this is how most headlights were. They had dual filament bulbs and one would be the low beam and the other the high beam. When the lows burned out, you would flip on the highs until you got the bulb fixed or get a ticket.

well if you headlight housing is the same as mine (04) then the fog light and high beam are two separate lights

Thanks for the graphic explanation. It amazes me how much I can know about my car yet miss the little things.
