03 headlights and fuses
03 headlights and fuses
My 2003 g35 has a burned out low beam on the passenger side. Both hi-beams are working and the other low beam is working. I know they are all seperate bulbs. I had a mechanic (non Nissan/Infiniti) check and he drew no power when he checked the connector for that light. He had no idea where to find the headlight fuses for my car and I wondered if it might just be the fuse or something more major like the wiring. As I said all other lights work and the hi-beam indicator on the dash works. This leaves me to believe it is not the controller (BDM?).
Headlight fuses are located in your hood, top left corner on passenger side. You have to take a few pieces off to get to it with ease. Do a quick search to find a picture location if needed. The low and high bulbs are the same, maybe you need new bulbs?
The hi-beams work. There are no low-beams but when I click the hi-beams on the switch I have lights. I have had others watch and I have done the get out of the car and run around and look thing and seen that they are on.
Had my '03 since '04. Like my car but the g35 is very different from most older cars that I could work on in my yard. I do think it is a fuse. Tried a new bulb and nothing. Had the leads tested and there was nothing (amps/volts) that registered.
