Quick question on led opinion.

Hey guys.

I just have a quick question.

I heard that installing courtesy lights are a bit hard? Do you just keep your foot on the thing so the light wont turn on and do the same thing like I did with my map lights?

Also, would you guys go for blue or white led for the trunk? http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...14826-1-2.html are these gonne be bright enough or too bright? Also,, I would only need to use one bulb right eventhough it comes with 2?

Thanks!

Bump. Hey guys. Scratch my post above.

Do you know if

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p4835709.html

would fit inside that trunk dome plastic thing? You think it will be too bright or just right?

or

just

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81077-1-2.html

or

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81018-1-2.html

Which one would work best?

Please some advice would be really helpful

Please I need some advice. I searched trunk lights but didn't find much info except light strips.

Hey bud,

I used this one.. it's really BRIGHT!!! I originally used to replace the license plate lamp.. VERY BRIGHT!! I had an extra because you get 2 of them in a pack, so i tried one in the trunk... AWESOME illumination of the trunk space with pure brilliant white light.. especially at night.. very nice and i give this bad boy 11 out of 10!! I've had them installed for a year now.. no problems whatsoever!!

they're only $10 a pair!

not so bad.. I use a tiny flathead screwdriver to pop one end out of the socket, then just use a shop rag to grab the hot bulb and put it off to the side... once you've installed LED's.. this isn't an issue.. they don't get hot like incandescant bulbs.

This what I've ended up going with after trying serveral different types of LED bulbs for the dome/map/courtesy lamps.. the brightest LED's I've ever seen for this DE3175 bulb replacement.

Cool. I really like the look of blue lights. Maybe ricey, but I like it. I have them for my courtesy and map lights too.

I know a lot of other G members that have blue lights in their trunk as well.

None of the LEDs linked so far are really that bright, at least not bright enough to illuminate the entire trunk. I'm currently using one of these angled towards the inside of the trunk, and it lights everything up pretty damn bright.

As for the rest of the interior, I went with the sm-t boards too.
