license plate bulb

i got no response in the lightening section and i want to order asap. my aftermarket led started flickering and i forget which one i bought. i have a packaging for a wled-w5 cool white bulb 194 wedge. i forget if i bought this one and put it in and it didnt cover it all in the license plate on how it was angled and the LEDS shooting out. is this the correct one i had? i only have 1 bulb to replace in license plate, not 2.

Try v-leds.com ive been running mines for a year already and have had no problems.
If you do use this site, type TOYOTANATION in the coupon code for a 15% discount.

I got some cheap ebay ones...only lasted 2 months before they went out. Bulbs are NOT bulbs. There's quality, then there's cheap. I've had great experience with v-leds.

^^^lol i used to think vLEDs were the best until i tried Halo LEDs (mrwong@statik sells them).

halo on left, vled on right. both leds were facing forward in this picture.

also, you cant really tell from the pic, but the halo led is PURE white while the vled, as is the case with most, has a slight blue hue/tint. the halo is MUCH brighter as you can see...

Nice. I actually like the bluish hue, well for the interior, just not raver blue, haha. I'm goin with different ones for my license plate ones, forgot the brand, but those go for $60 and supposed to be really good.

Screw bulbs/LED, just do CCFL, kinda a pain in the **** with the bracket but well worth it in the end....looks better than the bmw/lex. Even white light instead of spotty bluish light...if you have that kind of attention to detail of course

search the coupe forums, really nice DIY on there.

Yeah i've got pics at home too.. The SMD (Surface mount) leds are ridiculously bright.. but if you only have the one spot for a bulb, then a cheap ccfl would be better im sure..
