Hey guys, i was thinking about this from the day i bought my car, since mine is not fully loaded and i don't have premium i don't have the auto light feature. What if i buy a replacement and replace the whole steering left switch with no auto to a switch that has one do you guys think the feature will work? since all g35 first gen sedans have the sensors in the front windshield.. ? Thanks.

 

I have the premium package with the auto headlight feature on my G but I didn't realize even the ones with no prem package have the sensors near the front windshield. In that case, I wouldn't see a problem installing the auto headlight stalk as long as you're capable of fitting the wiring to make the auto feature work properly.

I have auto lights... I don't use them at all.

 

Did anyone have any luck actually getting this to work? How much did the new stalk cost you?
