Quad Project

Ok guys, I've been looking around at the 06 headlights and I decided that I want to do a retrofit. So what I plan on using is:

06 projectors with TSX clear lenses for upper
FX projectors with TSX clear lenses for lower
Lenses from original projectors in the turn signals
Led bulbs in the turn signals/city lights
4 x Matsush*ta Ballasts
4 x 85122+ bulbs
06 projector shrouds

Also I plan on tapping into the solenoid for the upper projector to have quad bi-xenons when i turn on high beams.

I will keep everyone updated on my progress and will try my best to keep pictures and MAYBE make a DIY. But I'm going to be learning as I go, and I would appreciate all the help that I could get from the lighting experts of driver.

Wish me Luck

stock g35 projector lenses will be too small for the turn signal . Need some 3" lenses and modification of the bowl

That's incorrect, the 2.5" lens will work for the turn signal if used with the 06 headlights. That's what almost everyone else does.

Op, if you are not going to use the oem projector for anything else the retaining ring for the lense is a perfect pressure fit for the turn signal housings on the 06. Just carefully glue the lens to the retainer and press it into place.

Not really bro . g35 lenses are 1/2" to small . My 3" tl lenses fit perfectly . Im 150% positive . I have both lenses and housing in my hand right now .

^ is right. I had my projectors open a few minutes ago to switch the g35 lense for the tl lense and I figured i would see if the other would fit in the turn signal....it won't lol

However, I'm sealing them back up and am going to take pictures before i do anything else

OP:

Your project sounds very similar to my HL project I did. Check my sig link for the thread where I documented everything! I'll try to keep tabs on your project here in case you run into any questions.

Good luck! You will be so happy when you finish
