silly fog light question =x

So... which light is the fog light on a 2006 g35 coupe? I've seen coupes with the round amber light on... but mine never comes on!! It only comes on when I use the hazard button and signal-er.

lol

The round amber you see is a signal light and for hazard use. The one next to your signal light is the fog light just below your projector headlight.

Ohhh, I see.

But I don't get it. I've seen many g35 coupes with the round amber light on at night.. it doesn't flash or anything...

Is that a mod or something? lol

The 03-05 headlights used a dual filament bulb. Those lights double as parking lights (first filament stays on constantly) and as blinkers (second filament). The 06+ headlights use a single filament that serve as blinkers only.

^ +1, funny think is in the sedans is the oposite, the 03-04 have a single filament and the 05-06 have dual filament, i only like those lights to light up with the hazzard or turning, i'm not a fan of parking lights

Noo the parking lights look so sick. Especially on the earlier coupes. 03-04 or 03-05... whatever it is. I ride with mine all the time

^^^I agree. I wish the 06+ headlights kept the dual filament bulbs.

Shouldn't it be as easy as a bulb swap? Lol...

I just noticed today that the drivers side "city light" (I guess you would call it) went out. Gives me a reason to put in the two super white LED's i got to swap in. I just don't want to deal with going in through the wheel well.. lol

i replaced the clear bulb for the clearance (?) light on the side of the headlight assy. with an amber one to match the parking/turn signal.

I don't know if you can tell in my avatar but I have the 06 coupe as well. amber (turn signals) are off while driving, only time they turn on is when turning or when using hazards). The 03-05's are always on.

the foglight bulb is the bulb right below your headlights (mine are yellow as shown in my avatar).

some (non sport bumper) coupes though have the rare setup of running the oem hid foglights down by the lower grill areas.
