need some electrical help pls

last night my friend with a ricer del sol wanted me to help add 2 pairs of fog lights into his car (yes, total 6 lights in front bumper with 6 hids). I agreed to help him and was going to wire it through a relay to a switch but he insisted on tapping into the headlight wiring just because it will save a lot more time. I told him that it was not a good idea but I ended up doing so. I wired the first pair of fogs including the hid (35w) with the headlight. Now, his headlights are hid also and hes running 55w on them. Once i wired both sides up, we turned on the headlight which turned all the headlights and the first pair of fog lights on. After about 5 seconds, they turned off. Now, even if we put back stock wiring, the headlights will not turn on at all. It seems like no power is coming to the lowbeam wire except for his high beam wire.

I came up with the possible issues but I would like more inputs on this as he wants me to fix this issue since i was the "installer". I warned him in the beginning -.-

the ballast is fine, because i have tested it in my other friend's car. :P

i think that it could be:

1. fuses
2. fried wires
3.

i thought it was bulbs or the ballast gone but i tested them out and all was good

The first place to look would be the fuses, easy enough to check. You tried to pull too much power and burned them.

^Ding winner
also call your friend a dummy for wanting to save time instead of doing it right the first time... also is he planning on putting the del sol in rallies?
Just wire them in properly. I'd suggest fresh fused wiring from the battery/ignition on their own switches. By this I mean soldered, fused and wire loomed.
I can taste the rice... and I haven't had chinese food in over a month
