Thinking about upgrading...

I have an 05 coupe with upgraded 06 projectors but with 05 ballasts and i was thinking about upgrading to 8k hids. I was wondering what exactly will I need in order to get the 8K hids? Thanks for any help I am quite confused about it :P

just the bulbs... i did mine with 6000k philips ultinon... i think the bulb number is d2s

yeah all you need are the 8k bulbs ..

take pics of what the back of the headlight looks like .cuz someone else here wanted to know how hard it was to swap out complete headlights .. thnx ...

Why would you go with 8k bulbs? Thats going to be really blue and very ricey lookin.

I'd get 5000k lights. The white looks so much better and more classy. Blue just looks cheap IMHO.

Especially since every "wanabee" gang banger in a civic around my neck of the woods has the blue lights.

I really didnt know that much about cars at the time and i was still capable of doing it. Its not hard just kinda annoying.

Thank you but I already have an idea of what I want as i already have "cool white" leds around my car and I want them to match.

Color temperature of "cool white" is usually around 5000k-6000k. 8000k is VERY blue and not even close to "cool white."

8000k HID is NOT going to match "cool white" LEDs. Not even close.

Thats why most manufactuers use the term "BRILLIANT BLUE" to describe 8000k lights.
