Want to install HIDs to match my LEDs

I know the g35 already has stock HIDs but i want HIDs to match my LEDs. I was thinking about going 8k but im not really positive and want some input. Does anyone have HID's installed with pics? Does anyone know a reliable place to buy from or a certain brand?

Thanks in advanced

What color is your G35? Wouldn't 6000k be a more common color?

My 8K match up pretty nicely with white leds, because when I try to order white leds's they all come with a bluish hue

Depends on what LEDs... I have Halo LEDs in my city lights and 8k HIDs. They really dont match... Looks like the 6K would of been closer IMO... Out of all the super white color LEDs, Halo is the most white. Other have more of a blue tint...

when your leds are on do they show any hint of a blue, if so do 8000k thats what i have. if they dont and are a pure white you can go with a 5000k hid wich is a pure white, if you went with a 6000k it would be white with a hint of blue that is barely noticable.

open an account on www.photobucket.com.. (it's free)

its free and then you can copy the share link w/ the [img]https://g35driver.com/forums/lighting/lighting/ tags into the reply box and you're good to go..

Thanks for creating this thread, not trying to thread jack, hopefully we have the same LEDs so we can help eachother out..

I'm actually in the exact same boat as you are... Here's pics of my LED strips

from tonight - taken w/ point and shoot

from the night of installation - taken w/ a 20D DSLR

This is the original link from the site I bought them from.. (Xenon White)

What do you guys think? They're blue to me.. As I pass cars on the road, they turn blue as well (especially if white vehicles) Is it just the light reflecting off of my TB? As you see even if I stand right in front of the car, it's still pretty blue... Even in the top image of the manufacturer's site, they look blueish..
