Projector Upgrade

I have a question, maybe a noob question.

I have an 04 Coupe and I just purchased the Projector housing from an 06. The projectors came with D2S bulbs, but will they plug right in and fit with my 04 coupe or will I have to purchase new ballasts from an 06-07 G to cooperate since the 04 reflectors use D2R? Thanks

No, everything is plug and play. The projectors you bought should've come with the ballasts already, but even if they didn't, you can mount the ballasts from your existing 04' lights, cuz like I said, everything is plug n' play. The harness from your car connects near ballasts... The socket for the bulbs is part of the housing. I also upgraded my 04' to the 06' projectors... Was very easy...

if you have 06 projectors, housings/bulbs you can remove your 04 headlights and use those ballasts with the new housings, direct plug n play. You only reuse ballasts from your old lights, nothing else.

Simple plug and play unless your vehicle had DRL, then a little rewiring is needed. 2006 headlights are sold as a complete unit with all the wiring and bulbs, your just have to reuse your old ballast which is attached to the bottom of the light housing.
