Strange issue with LED interior lights

08 35X
Replaced all the interior lights with LED's.

When I'm in my pitch black garage I can see one of the dome/map lights and both door lights stay dimly lit when they should be completely dark.

If I turn the dome light switch to "off", the dome led goes completely dark. When the switch is set to turn on when the door opens the LED never completely shuts off.

Anyone else have this behavior? its like the leds are still getting a tiny amount of current when the should be off.

As what M-Motorsports said. That is a completely normal behavior. If I'm correct, it is because it does not take much power at all to get them lit even so slightly even if they really "shouldn't" be lit at all. No worries though, your battery won't be drained or anything.

ahhh so the stock bulbs prob had some current going thru them also but not enough to make visible light. Interesting. leds are more sensitive so that's why the fading affect doesnt occur with leds either i get it now

use a flat screwdriver (cover the tip with a cloth) and then wedge it on each side and slowly take it out.
