Righ side headlight cutting out

This...what i'm doing to combat this is put some foam between the ignitor and the plastic cap. Hopefully it stays in place.

Having a lot of trouble accessing the back of the bulb due to the factor alarm hood switch, etc. Do yo guys usually remove the bumper, headlight to do this with ease? Thinking of just buying a new ballast/ignitor, i watched the light go out on it's own as it was just in the driveway, and tried turning it back on, and it just clicked etc from that light, then the next day it worked ok for a while. Any idea how much one is?

If on the passenger side, turn the wheel to the right (or remove if you'd like). I don't have a fender liner so I just stick my hand in there. Actually, you'll have to take the wheel off regardless to take out the fender liner. See if the ignitor thing is loose first. It depends on cost. Can be anywhere from $50 to a couple hundred.

ignitor costs 15 dollars . The ignitor is basically the wire that goes from your ballast to the bulb . When you put the bulb in the ignitors attaches to it by turning and locking it in . The gen 3 ignitors are known to come loose . If its not that though it may just be the bulb . To replace the ignitor you must uclip it from the bulb ,remove ballast and unscrew and unclip it from ballast then pull it out of the head light . It not hard . Easiest way is to just remove the bumper ,Its just a few clips and 2 screws on each side where the bumper meets the fender .no need to remove wheels .
