i replaced my license plate with leds. they are the single led bulbs with the plastic cylinder on it (im guessing to disispate or focus the light) but it is not very bight. in fact its pretty dark. i did clean the license plate housing but not extremely well. would cleaning it do the job? or would you guys suggest getting 8 Led bulbs? if so, which ones?? i just want white. thanks!

I just installed the 5 smd LEDs, they look great

 

you need high power leds.

 

Sounds like you need our plate lights . Pnp bulbs are always really dim and unreliable.
