7443 Dual Action LED Blinker/Parking Light Side Marker

Okay, before I start hacking up my wires I wanted to throw this out there in hopes that someone can save me some trouble.

Here is the deal...

I want to swap my 7443 dual filament bulb in my 05 headlight set for 7443 dual action LEDs so that they keep the blinker/parking light functionality. I assume this would be a simple plug and play scenario. Can anyone verify?

It gets better...

I want to retro my amber corners with the same 7443 dual action LED so that they gain the blinker/parking light functionality, and blink simultaneously with the headlights. I was thinking I could just splice an OE 7443 socket to the existing blinker/parking light wires and send it over to the corners instead of using the 194. Does anyone know if this would work, or have a better idea of how to accomplish this?

Other cool blinker mods that didn't help me here, but might help someone else searching that hits my post before one of these.

^This is one of the links I listed as not helpful . It is a cool mod, but not what I'm trying to do.

I want to add a second 7443 harness to each side and run it to the side markers, sans the 194 the OE side markers use. Does that make sense?

oh i see what your doing.. you want to delete the 194 bulb and custom make 7443 to fit correct? you would be the first to do this..

^That is correct. I'm going to mod the old amber side markers I have to fit a 7443.

Ultimately, I want the headlight and side marker to be illuminated when the parking lights are on as normal, but I want the site marker to have the dual action like the headlight to light up brighter when I use the blink. Both the headlight and side marker will blink the same way and the same time.

I may have to just do it an see what happens. I'll DIY it if it works...

Anyone else?

Here is a preview.

I spent about 4 hours dropping the bumper, removing headlights, modifying the side markers, splicing wires, and re-assembling everything. Oh, and I dropped some 6000K D2R bulbs in while I had the lights out.

Before I write up a DIY I'm going to have a more efficient, cleaner method, of rigging the side markers to accept a 7443 socket and bulb. The way I did it was effective, but a serious PITA.

^Yessir. Love that deep concave in back. The time attacks are pretty sweet, but I felt like the concave popped a little more with the machine face.

What are you rolling on now?

That is pretty sweet. I think I should put my orange lenses in because the original owner had the clears already installed and in 5-years I haven't touched them. Maybe the orange will bring new life to them.
