I should note that when you buy LED 7443s you will need to test out its polarity. Otherwise you will fry your fuse.

The stock layout of the 7443 plug is not the same as the lay out of the LED bulbs for whatever reason.

Meaning that the switch for ground could be only on one side where the switch for power on the bulb could be on both sides. This will cause the fuse to short because it's connecting two polarities together.

a quick bending the pins on the bulb will fix this. or simply instead of following the wires on the plug that you get (http://autolumination.com/connectors.htm) use the GREEN wire as the Ground and the other two (black and red) as Parking and blinking. If you don't test this, it WILL fry your fuse.

so your turnsignals stay on like the 03-05 models when not blinking.

Out of curiousity, IvoryGT or anyone know which color wire is which looking at the connectors inside of the 7443 plug(03-05)?

are two of the connectors the red/green wire, one for the ground(black wire), and the other for the green/yellow wire?

I was thinking of MacGyver-ing the 7440 plug with the extra wire and will post a DIY

not unless the 7443 plug is dirt cheap at the dealership...how much are they anyways?

for you wiring gurus, is there a way to "reverse" the turn signal function on '05s and below. by that i mean it stays on bright until the hazards or turn signals are on but then they just dim (not go out completely). i envy the caddy's and vettes that have those freakin' bright parking lamps. do you guys think it would be as simple as splicing and reversing the connectors?

not sure how much the plug would be...highly doubt they would have it. go to an autopart store they'd have the plug, you just need to rig it in. As far as the pins, Im almost certain the 1 and 2 are the two wires and 3 and 4 are negative. now that works fine for stock bulbs because it can do reverse polarity but LED 7443s do not and they usually split the two + on both sides of the bulb, this means you will short it out if you didnt rearrange the pins on the LED bulb.

So to really answer your question, sure you can rig it but you need to do some trial and error.
