This might be a dumb question but how do you know if your car has hid's without removing the light?

 

You should have them in a 05' model, but if you have HID, when you turn on the lights, you will see a flash, then it will get dim for a millisecond then the light will come up to full power. If it's a Hallogen, it will come on and stay the same brightness. You can also tell by the color tempurature. The HID's are pure white (4100 deg Kelvin) and the Halogens are a bit more yellow.
