Problem: Foglights creating a "cutoff"
I've installed several HID kits in my foglights in my coupe. (Discussion of whether or not this should be done will be another thread)
I've done one kit on 6,000k, three on 3,000k, and one on 5,000k. Each and every one of them have a very strange output pattern and color to the lights.
My 6,000k's was white with, what I call the "cutoff", being teal. My 3,000k's had a green cutoff, and my 5,000k's have a pink cutoff.
Here's a picture of my 5,000k's. I've edited the picture to be as real-to-life as I could get it.

You can see what I mean by "cutoff". It'd be the color it is supposed to be in the center, while the upper and lower edges are a different color. This causes the foglight to look whatever the cutoff color is, which completely throws off the look.
I put the HID kit on a completely different car and it works as it's supposed to, so this is specific to my car and not the quality of the product.
I have opened my headlights and painted the housing, so I'm assuming that's contributing to the problem.
Anybody have any ideas?
