well i searched and search and finally gave in to ask,
i removed my headliner along with everything else but the dash and the center console for an interior retro fit(wheat to black).
when i was putting it all back in i found two identical wiring harnesses.
I looked for where they both go (common sense tells me one goes somewhere in the map light, so i put it in, but no sunroof or lights. I swapped the plugs with each other (still on the first harness) and got a working sunroof.
my problem is for the life of me i cannot figure out where the other harness goes.
every thing works but the map lights in the headliner, the door lights, vanity lights, and the ignition illumination.

i will post a pic of the harness and the head liner tomorrow if i get the chance.
dont burn me to bad if this has been covered.

 

This is the harness i was talking about this is the long one there is a completely identical shorter one still in the car.

i didn't even take off any harnesses but i reused my stock headliner because i suede wrapped it.

 

i reused the same headliner but i just died it black and no i am stuck without any of my interior door&map lights, key light, trunk light etc...

 

End up figuring out the problem?
