I plan on doing a projector retrofit to my G35 05 sedan soon. I do not want to do a quad setup. I want to get the Morimoto Mini D2S 2.0 and place it in the low beam area. I want to keep the fog light area the same, but I want my highbeams to trigger the solenoid for the projector.

How does the fog\high beam combo work? I know its the same bulb, but is it two different harnesses? Dual fillament bulb? Will I have to splice the high beam wire into the solenoid harness from the projector?

If they use the same harness, wont the solenoids activate when the fogs are turned on?

 

Did you get this working? if so how. and are the fogs still working?
