Replacing headlights bulbs

Hello guys I've been away for a while, but now I need some help, does anyone knows if HID bulbs get old after 10 years of use? 'cause I noticed these days that my headlights are dull not bright as they used to be, if so whta's the best brand I can get GE, Sylvania, PIAA, etc. also I want to replace high beam bulbs (H4) I replaced those some time ago for some cheap chinese stuff but they're crap what brand you recommend in order to get very bright lights in both xenon and halogen, thanks guys.

I just installed Osram CBIs about a month ago. They're the best bulb I've ever used hands down.

Yes, the HID bulbs get old and the color changed. They get more yellow as they age and dimmer.

The first thing I would check would be whether your headlight lenses are clear. These things go yellow and less transparent, which cuts into the lights tremendously. You can clear them up with clear plastic polish and a microfiber cloth.

My 2003 headlights are still going strong after almost 10 years of driving most nights.

I've gotten these in the past for my other car, and will be purchasing a kit for the fogs soon.

For HID's, remember D2R for reflector. So 03-05 G lights would use this type. The S goes in projector style lights.

As far as the H4's, I've had great luck with OSRAM Silverstars on my previous G20t. Very bright, I had to order them from some european website though because they are NOT the same as the Silvania Silverstars that they sell here in the US. Tinted blue lights are lame and cut down on the brightness. The 03-05 G uses this bulb as the high beam and fog lights.

Edit:
Found the site (still get email spam from them): http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h4-...eadlight-bulb/
I'd go for the OSRAM Nighbreakers +90% or the OSRAM Silverstart +60% (brightness over standard)
