Ghost Shadlow Lights Flickering Problem

Hey guys,
I just added ghost shadow projection lights to both my front doors, but the one on my driver side is flickering. The door light that I quick spliced it to is also flickering. The ones on the passenger side are perfectly fine. Could it be that I need a bigger/better fuse? It took a few tries for me to splice it properly, but I only did that partly because it was flickering. Could it be that I either crimped too hard or is it a battery problem? I did have the doors open for a long time while i worked on the doors.

Please help! I've invested a lot of time on these doors, i would hate for it all to go to waste

If you post pictures of the wiring that might help but I would guess you have a short possibly where you spliced it.

How do I fix a short in the wiring where I spliced it? I used quick splices to keep it simple and easy for me.

I'm pretty sure I did the wiring correctly, although I could be wrong because I am new to wiring. And since i used quick splices if I showed pics, you wouldn't see much except maybe what looks like a few small nicks on the wiring to my courtesy lights where I wasn't able to tap both wires properly (besides the quick splices). I'm going to wrap those with electrical tape soon anyway.

Is there something specific you're looking for in a picture of the wiring?

What I noticed today actually, is when I open the door, the light turns on and is fine. However, after about thirty seconds, it starts blinking. Then when I start my engine, it blinks very very fast almost like its strobing. It seems just a tiny bit dimmer than I expected, but that might just be in my head.

This only happens on my driver side, not on my passenger side and they both have the same sort of hook up/set up. Could it be the gauge of the splices that I am using?

Well if you nicked the wire with the quick splice and then moved it somewhere else you could have a small piece of the wire that is shorting intermittently so I would definitely wrap up those spots. Or you could have the spot where you quick spliced not quite all the way through.
