Low beams out. stolen?

So recently both of my low beams on my 05 sedan went out. I go to check the bulbs and they're missing. Judging from how hard it was to even check them, has anyone ever had theirs stolen? Thanks in advance.

My passenger side wheel well lining is missing from previous owner. But there's no sign of tampering on the driver's side. I'm still can't believe this.

There has to be a more logical explanation! I can't imagine someone stealing them or both of them breaking at the same time.

no one stole your bulbs.

It simply isn't worth it to do so. Figure out the REAL reason.

Like everyone said bulbs run $ 30 on ebay. I rather steal all 4 of your wheels because it might be faster and i can easily flip them for $200 then waste time taking your low beams.

Back a few years ago they were taking WHOLE headlight assemblies. Like from EVO's,TL, S2k, STI, they are normally worth $800-1500/set back then. Now those projectors are like $100 so not much stealing going on.

Something reasonable happened.
