All the lights work during the day but as soon as the headlights turn on outside the vehicle, everything inside goes dark, dash lights, radio lights, and ac display. i tried adjusting the brightness with the wheel but they are all off.

tried checking the fuses by the brake, nothing. maybe i'm missing one? any recommendations would be awesome!! thanks

The dimmer switch is either broken or you blew a fuse.

 

Your gauges don't light up if it's light out and you turn on your headlights and why I don't turn on my headlights until dusk. Make sure your dimmer switch is on full too...Gary
