One of my dome lights burned out in my car and I started looking around for a typical replacement bulb when I stumbled on tons of links to people basically going with LED upgrades across the whole interior of the car. It looks pretty nice from the pics I've seen so I'm looking into it myself. I don't want any of that colored nonsense, just brighter LED interior lights and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good manufacturer to use for these bulbs or possibly an all-in-one kit that comes with the various bulb assortments necessary for the interior lights, which I believe are the dome lights and the two lights under the doors. I see some people also saying "Map light" and I'm not sure if they are referring to lights under the sun visor mirror (I honestly can't even remember if there is a light in that thing or not).

I also see a lot of people upgrading their license plate lights too, but I don't really care about that... I just don't want any changes that I do to look tacky or bling bling.

Any recommendations?

 

There's a vendor on here that sells all the interior lights as a kit. Pricing is pretty fair IMO. Ebay may be cheaper, but they're lower quality LEDs and you'd have to piece everything together.

I purchased these on ebay, and I've been happy with them. The seller might have a set for the coupe.

It also came with license plate lights.

It is $50 cheaper then Diode D but there are warranties on the DD stuff. Might as well give it a go and see if it is to your liking.

 

i JUST finished installing the kit from DD.
License plate light is awesome.
Rear map light is nice.
Dome light is bright af (Chose the next step up from lowest).
The side marker light is disgusting. It has a lime yellow tint to it cause I'm still on the amber side marker. I'll probably remove it til I get the clears.
And finally the courtesy door light is alright. I got the Red LED for it, second level brightness. It's not bright enough for my liking, but I'll judge fully once it's night time. My garage with the lights off test might not be adequate enough.
Asides from that, the 6K white light has a very clean tone to it. Highly recommend
