Driving light out
Driving light out
Hey Guys, so the other day I notice the passenger side driving light isn't working. But when if I turned the headlights on, and the the high beams, then shut them off, the driving light would stay lit most times. Not always, but mostly. I've done some reading and know it's not the bulb so I'm thinking it's the module. Is there a way to test the module to see if it's a loose wire or solder? Any help is appreciated.
The daytime driving lights. They come on automatically for Canadian cars. It's basically the headlights at 50% illumination.
Ok...figured it out. Canadian G's use the high beam bulbs at half voltage as DRL's.
First thing I would do is change out the passenger side high beam bulb with a new one. Might be a cracked filament which makes contact at full voltage, but not at half voltage.
