anybody try the Map Light mod from ClearCorners.com? link

shines in the color of your choice when the doors are opened, but then lights up pure white if you click on the lamp. alittle overpriced though

Overpriced until you see the quality. The amber unit on the website is mine, I was the first to request amber lighting for it. Matched it with eurolite amber step lights. The fact you get a great look when the door opens, but still get brighter functional map lights with a white light makes it worth it.

You can send in your unit to get modified. I had Mike order a replacement unit locally from his Infiniti dealer and do the modifications to that, then send out a finished unit so I wasn't without lighting. I'd post a photo, but my digital camera doesn't have f-stop capabilities to get a good night pictures, but its very bright.

so the $345 doesn't include the unit itself? still, would be cool to do red lighting on mine
