Can the head beam be adjused for G35 sedan

my 2003.5 sedan's head lights shoot beam toward passenger side and a little higher than driver side. The service of my dealer told me that our G35s light can not be adjusted due to the design. Is it true? or he is just bs me because he doest not not want to spend labor to fix it?

Perhaps he's not too good on adjustments. Yes they're adjustable. First you better find someone that wants to. Try another dealer.

the caps they put on the headlights due to that recall a couple months ago prevent you from adjusting the beam.. i haven't figured out how to get around this.

They can be adjusted. As a matter of fact a few months ago they released a TSB so customers could NOT adjust their own headlights.. so I figure that infiniti should be able to do this for you for FREEEEeee..

Contact Gordgee. He knows something about the adjustment since the caps went on.

30All's dealer told him they couldn't be adjusted. Sounds like BS to me. Whether we can do it or not is one thing, but the dealer (if they they know what they're doing) should know how, right?

They can be adjusted, and due to the recall that put the safety cap on them, you're supposed to take them to the dealer for adjustments.

However, note that headlights are not supposed to be parallel relative to each other. The passenger beam is supposed to be a bit higher and outward to provide better illumination of the road, while the driver's side light is supposed to be a little bit down and more straight-forward than outward, so as not to blind oncoming traffic.

I don't understand how the caps can prevent the user from adjusting them??? Just remove the caps. (NOTE: I haven't tried an adjustment yet, it just seems logical.)

FWIW, I think my headlights are a little low and don't illuminate enough of the highway to make me feel comfortable. Until I get the problem fixed, I am doing my best to not drive on the highway at night.

Don't have them on mine. But can the caps be removed and replaced w/o dealer involvement?
Just don't have the courage to take my 'baby' to the dealer. Too many horror stories.
BTW, I did adjust mine.
