Yup, I have the same map lights. Those are the six LED ones, right? They're actually not that bright compared to normal bulbs. They're more directional so they spotlight more, and have a nice glow.

 

Yeah from the pictures it looks like output is MUCH dimmer than stock. I just bought a bunch of white LEDs and will be playing with a few different setups to get the best lighting. I will be using a combination of high intensity and wide angle LEDs on a custom circuit. I will let you know what I find.

It just seems there is really no good "drop-in" LED solution. However, rumor has it that some of the larger manufacturers are working hard on changing that.

i have all of the same bulbs changed as you except mine are blue

 

could you take pictures,id like to see...you might make me swap mine out for blue if i like...lol
