Any experienced projector retrofitters in CALIFORNIA?

I have an 05 Coupe and I am currently acquiring the necessary hardware for a low beam projector retrofit. I have been doing some research and I have only seen a handful of CLEAN retrofits... the ones from this forum look great and I don't want to ship them out because I can't be without headlights for two weeks since my car is a daily driver.

I am looking for an experienced retrofitter in California. Northern California preferred. I would be assisting you with the whole project. So if anyone is interested or can recommend someone that has a proven track record then please send me an email... ryderx1@hotmail.com

Email your price as well. It will be a low beam, E46 ECE Single Xenon projector mod w/ chrome rings and bmw bezels. The rest of the headlight will remain stock.

Ed:
thank you for relaying this message to the community, I am sorry to give you the bad news via e-mail today.. but we simply cannot offer products like that.

The NHTSA prohibits vendors from selling certain products and conversions. The most common items have been pulled off the market within the past 1-2 years, such as HID "retrofit kits" which consist of modified and rebased HID capsules. This is a good thing, as these kits are inconsistent in build quality and in almost all cases, are a flawed design. Bulb and headlamp housing are designed to work hand in hand together, it is not recommended to swap rebased xenon bulbs into halogen housings, and vice versa.

The same applies to projector retrofits and such, it is against the law to mix and match internal headlamp lighting components such as projectors from one car, and slap them into another car. Any vendor that performs such conversions risks being fined thousands of dollars per instance of sale.

Regards,
Mike / ClearCorners.Com

AH never mind guys... I got 06 headlights. I don't have the time nor patience anymore to do a mod like that and I just don't have the stomach for someone else to do a mod like that for me.

I don't like paying someone to do something that I could do... and doing the retrofit and having the satisfaction of doing it yourself is 95% of it anyways.

I traded a car audio system for 1 pair of 06 projector headlight housings, 1 pair of Philips D2S 4300K and 1 pair of JDM Nissan Clear Corner/Bumper lenses.
