Changed out 06 lights

Changed the fog light to XD5 5800K H1 ( 9.99 from ebay ), the city light to Polarg 194 Hyperwhite, the clear corners to 194 Matrix Led, and the front blinker to mirror bulb. I am very happy how it turned out, but the Matrix led in the clear corners have a distinct blue tint. I want a pure white light so now I am the search for those. The Raybrig bulb I used for city light does look pretty white so I might try a pair of those in the corners. The XD5s look good for 10$ bulbs, I am not sure how long they will last but hey 10 bucks is not much to cry over. Taking off the fender lining involved taking off one screw, 5 clips in the wheel well, 2 clips under the car, and about 6 nuts under the car. It took an hour to do it the first time, next time with air tools it took 15 minutes. The 06 turn light lenses are cleared out but the bulb itself is amber, making the housing look amber at certain angles, so I replaced them with mirror orange bulbs that light up amber but dont have amber tint. These can be had for cheap at autolumination.com, do not get those expensive piaa! The third pic is with just the city light and clear corners, and not the xd5 fogs, Ill take pictures of those tonight.

There is no true white LED, they achieve the near white output by using a dye process. Drop in LED bulbs as they exist now will never outperform halogen counterparts (A few larger bulb manufacturers are supposedly releasing new bulbs that will change this) Your only real choice is to make a custom array of high quality white LEDs for the whitest output. Check out my DIY on that, I went with amber because white to me is kind of riceboyish.

I am thinking of moving away from LEDs altogether and try filament based bulbs, if I still dont get the pure white look I am switching back to amber.
