I think the cheapest I have seen is about $700 and they are driving lights. Thing is, that kit comes with the lamps AND the entire HID kit so it's buku $$$

The cheaper version of the micro de's are fogs, so the beam pattern will be much more spread out and not as much light straight down the road. I'm searching to find out if I can get just the DE driving lamps without the HID kit.

Driving light Beam pattern

Can anyone help?

Adrian

I went the cheaper route...8000k in the headlights and leds fogs in the grill
the led fogs have 12 leds bulbs and gives nice hid look
the fogs only 40.00 on ebay
I have to fix mounts to get them straighter

Can you give us night shot?

Why don't you put those in front of the grills?

Night shots would do those LED's more justice.

I am considering LED's... something like this

in this bumper

Only thing is that it would require some serious bumper modification since the bumper is already painted!

I also don't just want fog lights (wide spread & short), I want some DRIVING LIGHTS (straight & narrow - like low beams but down by the lowest duct-hole on left and right.

I think I'm going to get the Hella 50mm Micro DE Low beam set. Still unsure about the LED's.

Show a night photo!!!

i will be getting fogs installed just like the OP but I am getting streetglow optx h3 fogs and changing the default white bulbs with luminics h3 yellow fogs. should be installed in about 3 days.

question: whats the best place to ground the fog lights in the engine bay?

shouldn't matter much. there should be many grounded wires in the engine bay. Choose one and ground yours on the same spot!
