TSX or E46 projectors?

What are the benefits of each? Im looking for the most lght output. If they both cost the same, which would you guys use for a retrofit for low beams?

Do the TSX's fit easy in our housing? I read that the e46 projectors fits best. What are so great about the TSX projectors? The color at the cutoff line? Anyone had any experience with either of these? I basically want the most light output.

Easy is a relative term. I'd say 7/10 difficulty.

I read that the e46 projectors fits best.
You probably read it from me. 4/10 difficulty.

What are so great about the TSX projectors? The color at the cutoff line?
cutoff sharpness: TSX>>>> E46
color at cutoff: TSX>>>E46
output: TSX>E46
width: TSX>>E46

The ECE E46 have very sharp cutoffs in the very middle of the beam, but if you look at the sides of the beam pattern, it gets really fuzzy really quick. TSX as well as S2000 retain their sharpness throughout the entire beam pattern.

TSX+1

I have E46, and have to say I only went that way because I wanted an OEM look w/o to much difficulty. But let me put it to you this way: TSX is better than the E46, which is harder to retro a new heart or new lungs?

Go tsx

While I don't disagree with this post, I made custom shields for my E46's I have both a sharp cut off and lots of color, but they still blur at the edges.

With mod shield in g35:
cutoff sharpness: TSX>>>>>E46
color at cutoff: TSX>E46
output: TSX>E46
width: TSX>E46

I don't know if there are any more cars in the US that come with stock clear lenses on their projectors starting this year. Everything is fresnel now. Stock up on those clear lenses now...

Looks like I'll have to do projector mods with my next car now, even if it came with projectors.

No not really..... They are 95% clear w/ a fuzz patch about the size of a dime in the middle. This is why the cut off is razor sharp in the center, and burry on the edges. Oh yeah, and they have a straight shield, not curved which helps kkep a clean cut-off.

Really you can't go wrong with TSX, if you can find them.....I say no more than 190.00 a pair shipped.

Not really, these are 3" which fit purfectly through, not over the 2.25"~2.35" e46 projectors.

I used these with HIDplanets bezel to make my shrouds.

You want a "single xenon" projector bezel on a bmw, its also 2-1/4"
