Just received my Ultinons along with my 06 projectors today. Cant wait to get these babies on the G.

I wanna thank Alex over at Xenon Factory for providing us with another great group buy for these bulbs. This was the first GB that I have put together and he was always very helpful and made this process go by smoothly.

Also, thanks to everyone that was involved in the GB. Hopefully everyone will get their bulbs soon.

Just got mine today after UPS refused to leave them on my door yesterday (sig required). They produce a nice color. I can see why people "think" they are brighter, the color in the area being lit is much more noticable, but I wouldnt mistake that for being "brighter".

That metal contraption that holds the HID bulb inside the headlamp housing was interesting to say the least. Not sure if you guys had something similar on the G. Heres a couple pics i snapped:

Just an FYI for anyone that is reading this too late to join, I just got a set on ebay for $215 shipped. And yes they are the real ones. A big improvement over the 8000k ones I had in there.

will these bulbs fit the mercedes benz c240? (halogen housing) and can i just stick these on in place of the hold headlamps even without a proper hid kit?

 

No, if you did not have oem HID's these will not work for you. They do make aftermarket kits with these bulbs.
If you have oem HID's that are not projectors then these will work for you.
