Is it possible to retrofit a projector type high beam (fog) into the 2006 headlights?

Or is there not enough room because two ballasts would be needed for each headlight?

I got quoted $900 to have a projector type low beam retrofited as the fog light. That includes the projector, the ballasts, painting the housing black, and the Yellow Philips D2S bulbs. Does that sound fair? And is it even possible? I got quoted over phone so maybe its not even possible.

Also, the guy said he couldnt paint the housing a glossy black because of condensation?? He said paints them flat black to avoid condensation...That sucks cuz i really wanted a glossy black to match the car.

Is there any type of black glossy paint i can use that wont cause condensation?

for $900 to retro a bi-xenon projector in there, uummm well i wouldn't know if that's a good deal. but my question is: why would you retro projectors on your fogs section? just retro the S2K projectors on our low-beams and you're all set!

also, I wouldn't know if the guy is bull****ting or not on the glossy black...

The price i got was with Stanley TSX Dot D2S Projectors. Should i use a bigger projector for the high beam (fog). Any suggestions?

that would be a nice setup. i say go for it, since your 06 headlights already have projectors the fogs will match them nicely and in black to top it off will look fukn sweet. i say do it and go to a local meet so i can see them, and the price is not bad.

that's actually a great deal.... if you think about it... you're getting dual projectors for a price of...... $900 (tsx fogs) + $625 (Chad w/ infiniti) = $1525...... not bad......
couple of people on the forum is quoting about $2500 for dual projectors,... and others are quoting $800 for labor, and you bear the cost of parts.... dunno know how much that comes out to be , but you 're getting a good deal hear..... post up pics after and start this DUAL PROJECTOR CRAZE going.....

The projector on the 06 light is bi-xenon (high and low). The fog light is strictly a fog light now.

i'd say 900 sounds like a good deal
tsx projectors are about 200
ballast are another 200 and 100 for extra bulbs... there are many who does dual projector retrofits.

oh yeah the bottom circle is single xenon and not bi xenon since the bottom circle is only fogs in the 06+ headlights. bixenon projectors are for high/low or high/fogs
