Thumbs down My PIAA SUPER WHITE 168s seem to have gotten eaten up...

The blue film that covers the bulb are melting off... it appears--is it the heat? Or is it because some contaminents got on them? Is this something that just happens over time (ie:1 year)?

yup, thats the EXACT reason me and a dozen others in my region stopped using bulbs...LEDs are better. only prob. w/ them is they dont like the heat and can start flickering after a few months...
