After looking on ebay, I see that there's a lot of projector fog lights for the e46 m3. I looked on one of the M3 forums and found one guy who bought a set and he said they were a really good piece. They sell them in chrome and black. The chrome ones looked pretty good on the bimmer. I wonder how the projector fogs would look on our cars. They are much cheaper than the factory set.

BRILLANT use of the existing mesh for support for your new foglamp housings. The trim around them DOES make it look OEM. One of the best fog mods I've seen on the Coupe. Well done my friend!
It gives me hope that I'll be able to pull off my own foglamp mod this year as cleanly as this—that is, once I find just the right lamps...I've been looking at OEM lamps that other auto mfgs have that might work well with our bumper inlets...I want a shape that more closely conforms to the curvatures of the spaces in one way or another!

Judging by where the fogs are mounted, its not in front of where a CAI filter sits. It wont effect any airflow to the filter. It might, however, effect airflow to the radiator.... but very very little difference.
