Just got my Black 2007 M45 in June and was wondering if it was worth to clear bra...

what's a good price? i got quoted $850... is that good? that included the front bumper, partial hood, headlights, mirrors, and partial fenders.

Definitely worth it. I have had the 3M Clear bra on two cars and am very satisfied.
It costs around $600 Can. for full bumper wrap, partial hood, fender and mirrors (no headlights).

certainly worth it, but get the kit on ebay, and find an installer. much cheaper, same quality.

I work at a tint/3m place, 850 seems a bit pricey for what you are getting, but yes it is worth it. 3M is very good but is very glossy and has a rubbery feel to it. I've seen a new product by avery that is semi-matt and is very smooth.

It is not easy to apply it. Why would you want to cheap out on the install on a 50k car. I got mine done professionally and it was not easy. You have to have prior experience and know how to stretch and apply the film. I paid 600.00 for mine and it is worth every penny....

My G35 was installed at Visiage (spell?) Design Lab in Torrance and my wife CRV was done at AeroTech in Pomona. Both are recommended by x-pel and the prices are very close to each other.

Definitely worth every penny!

It's worth it if you are keeping the car for a while and you really like to keep it in top shape.

$850 sounds way on the high side. Mine was $410 for a 3M with everything done you've mentioned except headlights. From reading lots of posts on here $600 seems to be a reasonable average.

I agree with RBull, in Ontario, for a full bumper wrap and front end treatment $600 is the average price from a good installer.

Wayne and Deane, what about for an older car? My 03 had the front bumper painted right before I bought it, but not the hood, which has a few little nicks. I'm debating whether it'd be cheaper just to paint it again at some point (or better yet, replace it with a Nismo!), and do the hood at the same time, THEN go with the bra. No real question here, I guess, I'm just noodling about it.

Whatever route you go (Nismo Front is Sweet ) it is best to start off with a nice chip free surface before doing the clear-bra.

Too bad you missed out on Ian's Nismo front when he parted out his car
