I've heard bad things about the hiktador trunk too. Do not want. Originally Posted by konxeptionz

Also, I agree with everyone else that your car looks a lot better with OEM hood.

Thanks for the nice words, Rob, and I agree with you. I do love the HD hood, I just wish HD would put out a better product. Top of that, it doesn't seem like a lot of members are informed about how crappy their fiberglass really is. I can post pictures of how my hood bends as a request, if anyone wants to see it.Originally Posted by Big Rob
You can't go wrong with the OEM hood (duh), but I really think the Hippopotamus Dori hood finished off the look of your ride perfectly. Just my opinion, though, and I'm sure I'm in the minority of those who think that.

Yea, the trunk is the same way as well. My friend has the trunk and you can really see it ripple when the 12's start to hit in the back. It is terrible.Originally Posted by tragedycat

Sunny: I like it, what did you order?
ChargeSpeed rear. I wanted the Strafe one with the vents. There was a member from Dallas selling one and I wanted to pick it up, but he sold it before I could hop onto the deal. So I just settled for the ChargeSpeed. I'll really look like everyone else on the forum now, but I don't care. It is my car.Originally Posted by iseechriss

As requested. Here they are. I will go onto say that I am not discouraging others from buying HD products. If you don't care about the quality, feel free to buy. I'm sure it will not stop others from purchasing. I just feel that others need to be informed about what their products really are. Don't get me wrong, I still love my HD hood. I just don't love the quality. I also cannot speak for their CF parts though. I have no experience with their CF parts.
I will also add that I do not know a whole lot about molds or how the resin is supposed to be laid. But I've delt with other fiberglass pieces before and NONE of them bent like this. My 05 Civic's body kit was more durable then this.

Wow . . . that's all bad, kon! It's a shame that Hiccup Dori didn't make a higher quality, better fitting product, because they sure got it right with the designs. But by not getting their products to have proper fitment or even be sturdy, it renders the (good) looks, pointless.

Believe me, I've thought about that. I'm gonna hang onto it, make it more durable and stronger then what it originally was. Going to probably paint it a bit different too and do some other things to it. Essentially make it more of something that suits my needs and my tastes.Originally Posted by Frankieg35

When that happens, the hood will probably just go on if I go to meets or shows and stuff like that. I'll rock my OEM hood as a daily thing.

Don't get me started, Kevin. It is frustrating. But it's all good though. I'm just glad I didn't pay the $900 that HD was offering to me, unshipped when it was Kris and Veronica selling the stuff.Originally Posted by xx7sephiroth7xx

Patman is lucky that he doesn't daily his car. Originally, he had told me about the quality of it but had stated that it doesn't bother him since he doesn't drive his car every day.
I don't have that luxury.

Hah, I love your nicknames for the company, Rob. And I agree with you 100%. It may look good, but the quality is not there. This is definitely not a product that falls into the category of, "you get what you pay for."Originally Posted by Big Rob
