Wink put some cheapo e-bay wheels on my GF's G35x

just wanted to get rid of the Fisher Price looking factory wheels. These 18's were right at $600. Another $750 for tires mounted and balances though.

laugh it up haters

before - after

I think they look better then the factory Infiniti sport upgrade wheel becasue it has a nicer wider lip, better off set, and nicer color finish.

Hers on the left factory on the right (sorry whose ever car this is just an example).

$600 is cheapo alright. They look smaller than the factory wheels for some reason maybe its the lip?

I agree they look smaller. Ithink its the fasct the stock wheels have longer spokes. They look ok for 600 problly better off with the 18 or 19 sport wheels. But hey as long as you like it thats all the matters.

I just got the 18" factory sport rims and tires with about 15k miles on them for $500 in the market place. I do like the look of the lip though.

facrtory ride height

not going to mess with lowering her X. I don't know enough about lowering these cars mucch less an X to do it any time soon. Besides she doesn't care. Doesn't look bad in person anyway.

maybe they look smaller becasue of the lower profile tires ?

lucky you then I searched and gave up. All I saw were crappy tires on $1,500 rims that most would not ship. Worn out tires are not good enough for my girl and her 3.5 year old. These have bran new Continental all weather tires.

we're more than satisfied with the resutls

Looks decent especially if your GF isn't into the whole aftermarket wheel thing. Besides it what you/she likes anyway.

I have formed the opinion that owning a G35 does not mean you cant work on a budget and bargain shop. I have seen alot of post on here that sort of communicate that "if you cant afford a G35 you should have bought a corolla." It's crazy cause I actually think someone said that!!
Anyway, the car is great, and the wheels are are an upgrade. Nice work for a girlfriends car!

Quite frankly, I think it is great!!!

I would love to see those wheels with a gunmetal spoke.
