Ok my problem starts here, i <3 the way 19's look on the G Coupe but my friends are stressing the fact that even number rims and tires are SO much cheaper than 19s because theyre special order. Is the true and if so how much more expensive are they?

I personally think 20's look rediculous on these cars, esp the rim im going for.. the Racing Hart RS-721's

any opinons or advice is greatly appriciated guys thnx

rim wise.. 20s generally costs more.. i dont see why they would cost less? Tire wise, they can be cheaper I guess since theres less of a demand..

i'm sure you can get same offsets offered in 19s as in 20s.

^ with high-end wheel mfgs like work, dpe, and hre, you can get any offset you want in 19s or 20s... you just might have to special order in some cases.

even with rays, same offsets are offered in both 19s and 20s.

i was having that same prob, i was sure i made up my mind about 20s just b/c of tire price. but then i just could not imaging my car on 20s. so now i am def going 19s and even thinking about 18s depending on the wheel. i think 19" is perfect for a coupe. some may argue

I would go 19's with a drop. The only way I would put 20's is if I was doing body mods.

20's look great, 19's look awesome. Really all depends on what you want to do with the overall look of the car. If your going for something VIP then some multi-piece design 20's. If you want to give it that JDM look then r.harts are cool and those look great in 19 and 20 but usually 20 is special order and ridiculously expensive.

20 inch rims are generally more expensive depending on brand. For example, my zenettis retail for like 2g's but a set of 19 in volks would probably retail for twice that amount because there a higher quality product.

Regardless, if your looking for some racing harts expect to spend at least 3 grand for the wheels and remember that 19 inch TIRES are produced in relatively lesser numbers than 20 inch tires and are generally more expensive. I'll spend 700 bucks on a set of 4 Yokos for my 20's, if you have 19's you'll likely spend at least 250-300 a tire.

Hence the reason I went with 20's instead.
