To reset the light, you must turn the key to on, watch the airbag light stay solid for 5-7 secs and as soon as the airbag light turns off, turn the key to the off position (you have to turn the key to off before the airbag light starts to flash, or you must start over). You need to repeat this 5 times. Try to start the car, and hopefully the light will be reset.
That's why I love this forum. Most every time the answer is here. It was again today. I did the reset procedure and the light is now off. I will check all connections under the seats but the problem started on its own, no modifications or anything. In fact from one work day to the next where the car stays put in the driveway. Anyway, thanks to all for the continued help.

Thank god for the G35 community. After having read the posts about flashing airbag icon, I was having the same issue and it started earlier this month. Dealership wanted me to take it back in for analysis, and I knew they were going to screw me.

To the member who posted the turn the ignition to the on/off position 5 times before the airbag icon began to flash. This worked for me. It reset and NO MORE FLASHING AIRBAG ICON!!!!!!

I can't say enough to ALL the DIY-members who have have posted great videos and photos with instructions. This has saved many members $$$$$, including myself.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

Did a search. This worked like a charm for me.

However, a few weeks later the light came back for me.

My passenger air bag disabling switch hasn't been working correctly, so i always suspected it was that. So in it goes for service

Bought my first G 2 days ago and have already used the info from this forum for the flashing supplemental fix and the clock led fix. Great forum and great info. Not to mention the Honda Inca pearl touch up for the Brembos

Thank you
