Go Chrome?

sup all--

big fan of the 5zigen gravis wheels. trying to order the machined finish but am told that they are out-of-stock and can take up to 3 months, and not worth the wait because "they are going to be discontinued" BS? maybe.

but they have the "super chrome" finish in stock which is more expensive and theyre giving me a good deal since they dont have the machined..

question is-- should i go chrome? YAY or NAY?

thanks!

I think those look hot in chrome. But if you want the other finish wait for what you want the most.

Sounds like they're trying to get you to buy what they have in stock. Have you tired a different shop? Give these guys a try http://ewheelz.com/ and ask for Vick. They are located in El Monte, so they aren't too far...

I got my wheels from them locally, they didn't have my wheels instock, but they called up 5zigen directly and two hours later my wheels where in the shop directly from 5zigen.

I thought you had already ordered the wheels... Did you call wheels direct online? I think they were the second cheapest next to racing lab when I was shopping for the gravis. I wouldn't get the chrome they are going to be heavy in chrome plus I think chrome 20" in the gravis 1 just looks too big for a 1st gen.
