I didn't forget. I left them both out on purpose. I've hated those things since I got the headlights. I was just always to lazy to take them out or replace them with led's

did you have any problems whiles painting them or any suggestions?
im thinking of painting my headlights soon. Did you have to sand the housings before you painted them?

Make sure you prep them very carefully. Definitely sand things down and maybe even use some sort of an adhesion promoter in addition to the primer. I just used a primer, and although I didn't have any problems the paint seemed a tiny bit more fragile than I would have hoped. Other than that just take your time. This was a practice set for me. I'm working on a quad projector retrofit and I wanted to try painting the housings before attempting it on my big project.

hey whats up...my g is also black and cf,i have an 05 but converting to 06 headlights..how would i go about taking the headlight apart and making sure its sealed properly after painting is complete? if not a big hassle please pm me thanks! car looks dope by the way!!!

what'd you do to get them open? Dremel? are they the OEM nissan ones?
