Black headlights.
oh...
thats an overlay. too much of a PITA for me to be masking off all that for painting. I don't mind masking off the projectors but if a customer came to me asking to do them like that I'd tell them to get the overlays instead

Sorry Jay I didn't screw up the delivery locations of the headlights LOL
you're getting your all black ones with single LED strips and Gerard is getting his chrome shrouds and double strips

if you know Gerard hit him up and let him know you want to compare assemblies
ok thats what i was thinking too..maybe it was the overlay that made it look like that but i like the first set of pics you posted i think im gon go with that style...i like how you left the projectors chrome
if you're doing it yourself get a roll of BLUE masking tape and make sure you mask them off with 2 or 3 layers of tape and mask them off real good. GOtta get into those corners real well using a credit card or something otherwise the paint has a tendency to find its way underneath the tape and ends up in places you didn't want it to be. Also the multiple layers of tape ensures it doesn't get under a seam in the tape and end up on the chrome somewhere
I think I spent an hour if not a little more making sure the masking was perfect on that set.
If you want to dry the paint a little faster than simply leaving them in the air tp dry you can preheat the oven to 200 degrees and turn it off and leave the faces/bezels in there until the oven is completely cool. Still handle them from underneath and try not to touch the paint if you can just in case they aren't completely dry to the touch.
Best of luck with your project and be sure to let us all know how it turns out for you
** Notice on the all black set of assemblies I have projector lenses in the turn signals as well
